It’s Pentecost two years later and the Spirit moved me again. I hadn’t do any sewing for a while and just needed to make something. After making Hope banners with our youth, I thought I might just play with Fire again – this time on the ambo drop. I must admit that when I cut the flames out and arranged the draft, I wasn’t that impressed. I didn’t think that these flames would have as powerful effect as the bunting two years ago. I changed my mind as soon as I sat at the sewing machine. The Spirit and the added stitches made all the difference. The flames looked astonishing and I enjoyed sewing them so much that I carried on and made a curtain for the tabernacle as well.
I shared this work in the Word on Fire Art Group. Here is one of the comments I received:
“I feel as though I can feel the heat from here! Beautiful work of God”
