I love making gifts and I give them happily with and without reason or occasion. This stole was for Fr Rafał, a missionary of St. Vincent de Paul who prepared me for Confirmation and was instrumental in my early faith formation. Our paths crossed again after thirty plus years and in Rome of all places. This could only be orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. For me it was a perfect occasion for another stole and another gift.

The stole is purple with silver embroidery on one side, white with gold on the other. Making the logo of the Vincentians gave me a great opportunity to test properly my new machine. I’m still not sure of its attributes and I know that there is a lot to learn, but it definitely proved itself on a design like this.
